able to propose a change to rules to include the use of a Dice.
Mav and Mrs Mav provided the usual top class spread of food for all to enjoy. Many thanks goes to Mrs Mav and Mr Mav. The evening was a little less boisterous than normal, probably because BB was missing in action. The Manly South game was certainly a distraction and in fact a bit one side in the penalties in favour of Souths. Some very obvious bad rulings by the ref, the no Try was a try and as the turning point of the game. The dummy spit from Toovey was well
deserved and reserved. The Rabbitohs can be beaten. Well enough of Manly
South game.
The results of the game was a little surprising. The pots were reasonable, the winning hands were also across the board. No big losers and no Big winners.
Developer won the night with $25, TC Jagger 2nd, with Sniper 3rd, followed by BB 4th.( good job by GT)
The first 6 positions did not lose and $. The last Rok losing $20.
Results, TC Jagger pushing forward to first position overall on 32 points, a 4 point advantage. With Baker and Punter equal 2nd on 28 points, Damn it on 27 points. It's any ones game, but the Trophy is coming home.
See you all soon.

A belated thank you to Mav and co-pilot Mary for hosting an excellent BRC on 16 August.
From my own perspective, I make the following few notes
– The evening started brilliantly with me apparently “chatting up” Mary (Mav’s term, not mine) – up to that time I thought I was “past it”.
This was immediately followed by some delicious nachos that was thrust in my direction. I was a happy man at that stage.
The game at the table suffered at the beginning due to the distraction of the game on the TV – Souths v Manly;
three people were most upset by the match – Punter, Jagger and Geoff Toovey.
We then got down to BRC business. BB was very much missed but was well represented by proxy GT who tried to
model his play on the BB style.
There was a minor explosion by Mav when Jagger pretended he had a better set of cards than Mav’s winning hand – a cranky winner!
The mid game coffee and food was excellent, as expected, with only one shortcoming – NO GALAKTOBOUREKO! - which had been promised.
Towards the end of the night Banker appeared to be tired, as usual, but perked up considerably when he had good
hand.
In the end the winners’ circle was largely a family affair with Developer and Jagger taking first and second respectively, and then climbing into Jagger’s luxury Mercedes with the loot and smiles on their faces.
Thanks again to Mav and Mary – a most enjoyable evening (as usual), with excellent hosts.
Regards.
