NOTES FROM TC JAGGER

Another great night filled with may fine wines, including some very fine honey flavoured scotch whisky liqueur. Many thanks to Mr and Mrs Rok, who prepared some delicious Sushi, beautifully complimented by some Spanakopita brought in by Mav. Mav also delivered a new dessert - Bougatsa (similar to Galaktoboureko) complimenting the desserts provided by the Roks. All very enjoyable.
Stats unable to attend due illness, hopefully will recover quickly. No distractions this time from NRL game (Tigers v’s Souths), with South killed off by the Tigers. Game started in earnest. Not many buy ins for game LXVI. A total of $230 in the Kitty, one of the lowest since stats records were taken. Some interesting games with pocket Aces winning some hands not the normal trend.
In the end the final hand of the night determined the winner of the Meeting LXVI. The Host the last dealer for the night call the game Double texas with the lowest card in the hard wild. TC Jagger holding pocket 8’s and Rok, holding pocket 9’s. , flop comes 1 row with 2 /8’s , TC Jagger holding an immediate 5 of a kind. The other row 10, 7 and 9. Rok holding 4 of kind. At this point all other players drop out. TC jagger hoping for an Ace to drop, however in the Turn a King. TC holds 5 kings and in a confident position. The turn on Rok row, an ACE!!. Tc Jagger still confident as the best that can be achieved in 4 Ace’s. Now for the final card the river. A king supplemented with a Jack and the Ace complimented by another Ace!!!. TC Jagger knew he could lose. The show , ROK holding pocket 9’s and 3 wild cards had 5 Aces, beating 5 kings. Rok wins the pot with approx. $30,000 chips, game and the night . pushing TC Jagger to 4th, the delta 3 precious points.

Developer 2nd place earning 9 pts to 24 points on equal 1st position.
Maverick 3rd place earning 8 pts to 17 points overall 6th position
TC Jagger 4th place earning 7 pts to 18 points overall 5th position
Sniper 5th place earning 6 pts to 19 pts overall 4th position
Banker 6th place earning 5 pts to 14pts overall 7th position
Big Bluff 7th place earning 4 pts to 24 pts overall equal 1st position
Punter 8th place earning 3 pts to 12 pts overall 8th position
Professor 9th place earning 2 pts to 11 pts overall 9th position.

Oh BTW, BigBluff did not achieve 4 in a row wins. Maybe next time, better luck next time. Well done boys.
