1. On time arrival by BB, Punter, TC Jagger, Professor, GT and Developer. The Rok came next with follow up by Maverick and Sniper.Dam It was an apology for the evening.
2. Penalties for late comers were implemented as per the Rules with no consideration for leniancy provided
3. Banker introduced the Japanese Sumo deck which was perfectly camoflaged with the plastic table cloth being used. It became clear that an alternatinve table cloth was required, which Banker implemented.
4. BB's calls for signature games was attended to by some of the members
5. TC Jagger stunned the members with winning the first 3 hands of the night
6. The Roks "compulsory Texas" with the use of only 3 cards on the deck was a hit
7. BB's compulsory strip texas where you had to have 2 of the 5 cards stripped to qualify to play was not popular with TC Jagger who failed to qualify for the game on 2 occassions
8. Fortunes favoured BB again who took out several good pots
9. Extra buy ins were required to stay in the game by various members and there was alot more capping of the betting
10. Break at 11pm was well catered for and received
11. The battle was on as the business end of the night kicked in after the break.
12. Game finished at around 1.15am with BB collecting 10 points for the second time in a row by the barest of margins over TC Jagger, BB has moved from 8th position to equal 4th position on 35
points, with 3 others. The TC Jagger earning 9 points with 2nd position, Rok 8
points for 3rd position and Punter with 6 points with 5th Position all now on 35 points.
13. Sniper retains 1st position on 40 points earning 4 points for the night, host Banker gained 2 points retaining 2nd position on 37 points and The Professor earned 3 points for evening to maintain 3rd position on 36 points
14. There were some members who were not keen to have another final round game in 2011. This was left for later discussion by email
15. Overall the gap from 1st and 2nd has increased by 2 pts , however the gap from 1st to 8th position has reduced by 2 points to 9 points. Very tight indeed. It is very much any ones competition
15. Total investment for the evening was $280 which was on the average side
16. BB has now broken another record by winning 2 BRC games in a row- What a Champion!!!
