NOTES FROM TC JAGGER
Dear all
Please find attached the updated Competition table for round 2 for 2015 season. Firstly I would like to thank JT and Mrs JT for hosting the evening, the spring worked a HOT TREAT. The game started in earnest by 8.15pm, and as there was a quorum a decision was made to penalize the late comers by an amount equal to the amount twice the ante for each game missed up to a capped amount of 5000 chips.
After the end of the ST George Broncos game , which was luckily won by the Dragons ( could have easily gone the other way) the late comers eventually arrived post 10 pm singing , “ Oh when the Saints come marching in…” 21 games had been played.
BB winning the first hand without even seeing his cards.? And eventually winning the night even with the 5000 chip penalty. At least TC Jagger won 1 hand against with a 1 wild card Straight flush ( against another straight flush but 2 wild cards).
The results for the evening
Congrats to BigBluff for the 1st place, 2nd place TC Jagger and 3rd going to Sniper with less than a net 1000 chips remaining. With BigBluff winning both games this season, now has 3 wins in a row, 2 this season and the last game from last season. Guys we need to change the course of the game.
BigBluff now has a 5 point lead with 20 points, from Developer on 15 points. ( note both the late comers) 3rd position equally held by Sniper and the Rok on 13 points. 5Th position held by TC Jagger with 11 points. All remaining players on 9 points.
The game was followed up by a Sat function with wives at a Greek restaurant in Kogarah organise by Maverick family. Great and plentiful food with at least 10 bottles of wine was drink to help was the food down. The predominate wine region was from the Coonawarra Region. All had a great time, many laughs including discussion of how we can celebrate game C ( 100) by driving across the Nullabor plains to Perth. At an average of 6 games /year, the game of the Century should occur in the year 2021. !!!! Enza and new hubby Graham attended. Unfortunately Kathy was unable to attended. The consensus appears that another function would be organise on the north side in about 6 months’ time.
I believe the next game is scheduled at the ROK place in approx. 2 months, where the BB must be stop at all costs.

A big Thank You to GT & Stella for hosting another gathering of the " lunatics " comprising the BRC.
It was a very enjoyable evening ..... up until the last hand of the night . { Bloody Jagger ! }
Highlights were:
* The Dragons winning an epic battle over The Broncos.
* The Sea Eagles getting plucked again ( 6 in a row ) .... and surely hot favourites for the 2015 wooden spoon.
* The Bermuda Triangle resurfaced . Thanks Professor !
* Big Bluff kicking & capping pots without even looking at his cards .
A masterstroke or lunacy .... NO ! , just confirmation of the fact that he has no idea & just runs on pure luck ( Coolo Grande )
* Maverick remained calm all evening .... must of been the soothing effects of the wild turkey.
* The Sniper often came out from the bushes to steal big pots.
* The Developer was incensed to cop a fine for his late arrival. He is now checking with his QC as far as lodging an appeal against the severity of the $5.00 ( Non Monetary ) fine.
* The Dragons supporters in full voice singing " Oh When the Saints go Marching In " at 11.00 pm .
Surely this was enjoyed by all the neighbours.

PS : Happy Birthday to Big Bluff for this coming Thursday ( 23rd ) . I will look for a " Poker for Dummies " book as a gift for you.
