Notes from TC Jagger
Great night, Special thanks go to the hosts, Mrs and Mr Developer!, well catered with the assistance of Costco. The disappointment of the evening was the expectation of the 1988 Pyrus wine, turning out to be past its prime. Other GOOD wine was enjoyed.   The event belonged to The Developer reversing the past 4 games at a consistent 8t position.  Sniper maintains first position, albeit only 1 point of Rok. It appears the podium positions will be  limited to only the top 5 players, with the remaining 5 players out of  contention. It is a shame that the double point system is out this year. Maybe the members should consider bringing this back for next year.
 I enclosed the updated competition table . It makes very interesting reading. Some minor changes to the competition ladder. The biggest mover was the Developer, the winner of the night moved from last to 8th. The first 3 positions are all separated by a total of 7 points starting from 39 points  to 32
points.

The best hand of the night was of the 5 Queens held by Developer,  holding 3 queens in the hand against 2 player with 5 nines………………….
The winners circle for the evening were The Developer, Big bluff ( who could not maintain the pattern of previous games first, last, first and last again followed by the Rok. The last position was taken up by TC Jagger , who could
not  win a trick.
BB will provide the minutes on the web site as usual. I look forward to the final rounds at the House of the Jaggers, where the luck will return.
After 5 rounds;
Sniper continues to hold first position on 39 points,  second The Rok 1 point behind on 38 ,  3rd position held by BB who moved up 1 place, a  further 6 points behind and 4thposition held by TC Jagger and the Professor only 3 points behind.
20.5 points separate 1st position and 10thposition. Only 10 points max remain to be won.   My money is still on Sniper to win 2012 BRC competition followed by the Rok 3rd position is still up for grabs.

But who knows anything can happen. It should be noted that Sniper only needs to  turn up and receive 1 point to only leave the current 2nd and 3rd position players to grab 1st.  BB must win or come second on the night and Sniper to come last and Rok to come second last, which will result in BB winning on 42 or 41 points with the Rok and Sniper to end up on equal 40 points? Will the target remain on the Sniper/Rok or will they crash and burn in the final round.

It is for the Sniper or the Rok to
lose!!!!!!

Best Regards,
TC Jagger

Notes from The Rok

A big thank you to " The Developing Family "for hosting another rowdy gathering. The eats & treats were exceptional. The Pallazo  ... First Class .
High & Low Lights:
* It was good to see The Punter back at the table.
* The Developer obviously enjoyed the " home ground " advantage . Emerging victorious !
* The Jagger endured a night of miserable luck !
* The Punter's juggling act : 1 x Light Beer plus 1 x Gallon of Red Wine.
* Almost all the chips in the case were used on the night so a large amount of money was in circulation.
* The Jagger drew out another relative in the BRC tipping comp non winners raffle. Congrats to the Mini Developer .
* The hand of the night ... to the Developer .. gazzumping the Jagger with 3 pocket Queens . Ye-Ha .
* No wine was spilt on the night even though the chairs were well prepared in advance.

An Excellent Evening .
Thank you.
The Rok The True Peoples' Champion .
