Thanks to the Developer and Mrs Developer for hosting BRC XXXIV at their temporary residence.
As usual the night was entertaining with a few highlights as follows:
1. Dinner was held at the El Rancho pre-game
2. Apologies by the Professor who was laid low by the flu. Maverick has a Leave of Absence this year in Vancouver, Canada and is currently nursing a broken leg.
3. A BRC First, with BB attending by Webcam from his camp in the Desert in Doha, Qatar.
4. First image on the screen was of a towel were person in sunglasses, BB was in camoflague for the first hour at least. Proxy was GT with laptop supplied by Jagger, internet connection by Developer. Truely a 21st century achievement. Special thanks to those who helped make this possible.
5. Invitation to Maverick to also join by webcam was declined by Maverick due to difficult timing of game in Vancouver
6. Dam It was a little late to the game which started on time.
7. Several attempts to sever the connection failed to stop BB from calling back into the game
8. The usual games were played and the luck seemed to jump around the table. BB was performing exceptionall well thanks tohis proxy, who realised after sometime that in showing BB his cards on screen meant those descerning player watchinf could see the cards also in the small video screen playing the broadcast image. This was rectified by the use of a sheet of paper covering the screen and the cards as they were shown to BB.
9. Some of the details of the game have been lost due to poor memory of BB and will rely on members posting comments to this Blog
10. Coffee break was at 11pm with BB signing out and then back in arounf 11.20pm
11. Game went on with the serious betting occuring.
12 Game finished at just before 2am with the Rok clear winner with Vitual BB coming in second!! Sniper and Jagger were just Positive with Developer square and other contributing to the winnings.
13. BIGGEST LOSER was a tie with Banker and Punter sharing honours
14. Webcam shot was taken by BB at the end prior to shut down and is in the Picture Gallery.
